Police officers in the sphere of the social relations of the city and edge (materials of researches in Krasnoyarsk Part)

Public attention to the problem of public safety increased in 2010-2011 during the period of reforming the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. In this regard, the public was concerned with various questions. How in general will the ongoing reform affect the state of public safety? Will the reduction in the number of law enforcement officers lead to an increase in the number of crimes? How will the nature of relations between the population and law enforcement officers change, are they ready to cooperate in fighting crime and maintaining law and order? In search of answers to these and other questions in September 2011 a sociological survey was conducted on the topic: "The state of public safety and the activities of territorial bodies of internal affairs of Krasnoyarsk Krai as perceived by residents".
